Free English Workshop in Your School
Humanitarian Power Hour for ESL students (English as a Second Language)
Interactive workshop, lead by a qualified ESL teacher
Learn about human trafficking, sexual exploitation and human slave labour
Our workshop focuses on the intervention of young people regarding human trafficking both globally and locally.
Young learners will have many benefits from this course such as gaining humanitarian, and geographical skills, practising ESL language and raising awareness of current situations.

The main focus is on social integration and cohesion, which will be worked out by the students with the help of interactive methods.
In a global context, the students will understand how they can direct their actions so that the future of the disadvantaged sections of the population in Europe and also in developing countries is positively influenced.

This workshop is a great opportunity to contribute to the tolerance, education and integration of the students, who sometimes also have a migration background. The fact that the workshop is held entirely in English helps to improve the students' language skills and has shown in the past that due to the experience of a common language, the energetic gap between students from different national or ethic backgrounds was significantly decreased and a mutual understanding and tolerance was build up.

“Cindy Debes, CEO and founder of HATW was invited as a guest speaker to Phoenix Academy, an International training College in Perth, Western Australia.
Cindy spoke to a group of 50 international students from across the globe who were studying English for Academic Purposes and pathwayed to Australian Universities.
The aim of Cindy's interactive workshop was to introduce the students to Philanthropy, raising awareness regarding human trafficking and the importance of helping others. Cindy's story, so personal and heartfelt of how Hands Across the World's began and its aim to empower children and train local teachers to prevent the atrocities of child-exploitation and human trafficking touched the hearts of all present. So much so that the staff and students collaborated in other HATW fundraising events to join Cindy and her team to help those in need in Cambodia.”
